Since
its inception in 1996 Federal Goose Control, Inc. has developed
a truly integrated system for Canada Goose Mitigation. Our
service incorporates the use of specially trained Border Collies
and handlers, FlightControl®,
and Goose Chaser IITM to deter Canada Geese from
your property. Our
method is non-lethal and humane.
It is accepted by “Animal Rights Activist” groups as
well as United States Fish & Wildlife Service and Humane
Society of The United States.
We
currently provide service for clients in seven states and
have plans for future expansion. Our quality service and integrated
system have proven extremely successful. As a result, Federal
Goose Control, Inc. is the exclusive mitigation service for
several "Class A" Property Management Companies.
Our customer base includes Property Management Companies,
Corporate Campuses, Municipalities, Counties, Schools, Universities,
Condo Associations, Apartment Complex, Swimming Areas, Sport
and Recreational Facilities, Parks and Playgrounds, Shopping
Centers, Private Estates and Residences.
Canada
Goose Mitigation Services offered by Federal Goose Control,
Inc. include
both short and long term programs, tailored to your individual
situation. We offer special corporate rates for multiple locations.
Our pricing includes our integrated control system,
the removal of nests and eggs (A Federal permit is necessary
for the removal of eggs and nests.), help
with Federal application filings and coordination with USDA
when necessary.
Taking
Care of Business
At Federal Goose Control, Inc. we conduct business in a professional
manner at all times.

Goose Control, Inc. employees are well groomed and dressed
appropriately for our business and for their position
in particular.

Each
Employee is issued a cellular Phone for direct communication
with our clients and a quicker response time when needed
for a particular unscheduled site visit.

Goose Chaser II boats are issued to Handlers for use in
ponds and lakes on our client’s sites for added control
of goose population.

Each
vehicle used in daily operations is conspicuously marked
and easily identifiable.

All
Federal Goose Control Canines are Purebred Border Collies
that are specially trained at our Maryland Facility where
we have established Goose
University
, an educational facility for both handlers and Border
Collies.
At
“Goose U” our handlers and Border Collies are matched with
each other to achieve a personality balance that optimizes
their ability to perform their job function with the highest
level of confidence, thus producing the greatest effect. All
Federal Goose Control, Inc. handlers and Border Collies are
scheduled for refresher training on an as needed or at a minimum
on an annual basis. All personnel at Federal Goose Control,
Inc. are educated in the behavior of Canada Geese, their mating,
nesting, and migratory habits.
In
a continuing effort to develop and improve Goose Mitigation
techniques, Federal Goose Control, Inc. constantly researches
new information relating to goose habits & control, health
hazards and risks, and Laws and regulations.
